Spring Sushi

My friend Katie and I took a trip downtown for a spot of shopping last Wednesday. Getting there proved a bit of a challenge due to weather conditions, but one delayed bus and an hour wait for a transfer later, we reached Toronto.
We spent some time going through the shops in the Eaton Center, but what we were most excited about was our plans to visit Spring Sushi for lunch.

It’s a popular all-you-can-eat Japanese restaurant right on the doorstep of Ryerson University.

They provide you with iPads to place your order.

As soon as you hit the submit button, your order is sent to the kitchen. Β No waving down a waiter!

Before you know it, your food is at your table.
Starters included Miso Soup for Katie and Seaweed Salad for me.

Here’s a portion of what we ordered:

We’ll definitely be visiting again next time we’re in the city!

Take a look at their menu here!

  2. Hey Kelly, I nominated you for this blog award: https://acanadianinshanghai.wordpress.com/2015/01/13/the-versatile-blogger-award/?preview=true&preview_id=708

I honestly think these awards are just a marketing gimmick…But I have trouble saying “No” to people, so I did it.

Don’t feel obligated to do this too! I figured as annoying as it may be, it is an great opportunity to let you know that your blog is pretty damn cool, and I read it everyday! Nothing wrong with that right? πŸ˜€

      1. Phew! 5 mins into this, I immediately regretted it and thought I was gonna be blocked for being a spammer…
Btw, any recommendations for Ethiopian restaurants in Toronto? πŸ˜›

        1. Haha, I am thinking the exact same! I’ve never seen this type of thing on a blog before. Not sure about the restaurants, but I’ll definitely look into it!
