One of the things I’ve missed the most during quarantine is real Italian Margarita Pizza. It’s the little things that make me happy.
There isn’t an Italian restaurant close to where I live, so whenever I feel like Italian food I have to drive at least 40 minutes to a restaurant. That was fine when I could eat there, but bringing a pizza home on a long drive like that, there’s no way it will be as good as straight out of the oven.
So now that patios are opening up, I’m so excited to be getting back to enjoying the foods that I love!
While living in Milton, Ontario briefly I remember driving by this beautiful restaurant named Pasqualino on my way home from work one night. As I drove by, I saw a group of people coming out of this vibrant, busy looking place. From what I could see it looked so pretty, and clearly popular, and so I knew I’d have to add it to my list of places to try.
Then the other day I happened to find myself in Milton with my mom, and we noticed it was open. My mom, I learned that day, had always wanted to try Pasqualino. So now was our chance!

At the back of the restaurant is the patio, which has tables well spread out. Staff are very accommodating for helping you choose where to sit. We chose a quiet corner away from the party happening around the corner on the patio.

It’s not as elegant as sitting inside the restaurant, but it’s worth it for the food! Almost as soon as you sit down, you are brought fresh bread with olive oil and balsamic to enjoy while you wait for your food (they give you more bread than pictured, but we had already dug in!).

For lunch my mom and I shared a Pizza Margarita and Insalata della Casa. The pizza is is good for those of us with cow milk allergies because it’s made with Buffalo Mozzarella, which is much easier to digest. And the salad is vegan friendly! Both were absolutely delicious, and I’m already dreaming of more.
